If Marcos win Wimbledon what will he be called?
A Greek Cypriot?
A Cypriot?
Will the Turkish Cypriot be happy if he wins?
Know you see what this Greek Cypriot & Turkish Cypriot crap has done and will do in the future!
Divide a person who is really a Cypriot who speaks Greek and is a Christian:
Who will NOW claim him?
I have a new CD in the States and if I get a record deal what will the paper say about me: I am a Greek Cypriot? I speak Greek? I am orthodox?
Who cares I am a Cypriot born in Australia:
I spoke to Marcos in Melbourne at a function and he signed some Tennis balls for a charity for handicap children and I told him he has a chance to unite Cyprus IF he keeps away from the Greek Flags and the says he is Cypriot:(All the Greeks want to claim him BUT they have Philipousis with the Alexander the Great tattoo on his arm)
In ALL the paper in Australia (They have him as a Hero) They ALWAYS say Cypriot:
The president of the Aussie Rules Football (Billion Dollar Industry) is a man called Andrew Demetrious who is a Cypriot from Kathikas and he always says Cypriot:
BUT unfortunately we LABEL people so that we can never cuts ties with our mothers: Greece and Turkey:
I hope Marcos win for Cyprus and ALL Cypriots:
PS If he wins he is my cousin and if he looses he is my wife's cousin:

I am intrigued by this Zivania! I think I may have had some in Cyprus one year when the restaurant manager offered us a glass of "ucak benzin" (aircraft fuel) as he called it and laughed his head off after he saw the look on our faces once we had a sip of the stuff

Well going back to the point, the BBC commentary team have been referring to Marcos as Cypriot but refer to his supporters as Greek Cypriot - for example the other night the commentators said there is a large Greek Cypriot community in London that will be supporting him.

Its a shame they look at it that Way Greek Cypriot and not Cypriot because I am an Aussie and not a Cypriot Aussie OR Aussie Cypriot:
You see we are all to blame with all this: Just look at some on this forum who are too patriotic to the mother country to say Cypriot who speaks Greek Or Turkish BUT have to say Greek Cypriot or Turkish Cypriot:
There are some who will criticize and radical you for say Cypriot:
BUT it took Australia a few years to cut ties with the Poms and now you wouldn't even dare calling an Aussie a Pom or an American a Canadian:
So we have a long way to go before we can grow up and let mummy's hand go!
