bit of a crappy game tho...just really poor defending!
Ah well, if germany continue like that, i doubt they will get much further than the 1/4s!
good start to the world cup!
Plus, does anyone else think the ball is ridiculously light this year?! it moves so much in the air! i can imagine htat a lot of 'unfair' goals will be scored cos the goalie cant get across the gaol in time! whereas before they may have been able to! Still, will make the games a bit more interesting ! ;)

Although I don't like football, in the office draw I picked ... Togo ...
So we got a Togolese flag (one can get anything in London - pigeons' milk? no problem) and put it outside the house :D |

| You guys should watch Ecuador, a complete different style to European teams. Big, strong and fast, 1-0 up over Poland at the moment. Paraguay is a similar sort of team, I think England will not find it so easy tomorrow. As for who to win, I dont know, need to watch each team play first, hardly know anything about some teams. |

| I like American football but here goes my prediction. Brazil will take it all the way and Germany will end up second. |

I voted for England, its about time for them, 40 years later. :-)
And yes, I've just seen the game against Paraguay, but still.... |

| I wonder if the commentators and pundits here in England were watching the same game. They said England played excellent the first half! No they didnt, Paraguay just played rubbish! England has to seriously up its performance, this looked nothing like a World Cup winning team. |

| Hats off to Joe Cole though, best player of the game. Beckham started well too, but fizzled out towards the end. Crouch, surely there is a better striker in England than this man? He can barely play footbal. |
