Goodmorning good people,
Summer is very close and although i am aware that most of you are not and will not be in Cyprus, i though i bring up the subject of Projects again. I was wodering if any of you have any ideas over possible summer bi-communal projects we could organise not only for the member of the forum obv. I think Summer is a good time for this (despite the heat).
I was thinking about practical(?) or artistic( photography?) projects that include discovering of the other site and familiaring with the mixing of the cultures.
In addition, more thoretical projects like research and comparison of past popular newpaper editions at times of trouble in Cyprus.
or i dont know backgammon turnament of something...hihi
..paragliding?!
I dont know if these sounds lame but we must have had a few ideas in the forum in the course of the last few months.
Any ideas?

the tavli tournament sounds good.
Hehe,...maybe in years to come, you ccould do a party in the park type thing ;) like in hyde park for the princes trust! loads of cypriot, greek, turkeish musicians playing somewhere near the green line! how cool would that be?!
My ideas are sounding a bit too big atm, but maybe stufflike phjotographic exhibitions, and documentation fo peoples experiances during the 60s/70s. the beginnings of some kind of truth/reconciliation committee.
anyway, back toreality...amybe some lkind of party? Maybe you could get a few musicians together, play a small venue like gardash? however this may cost money :?

i think that rather than displays and things, there need to be projects which REALLY get people involved and your kids idea sounds quite good (although could be quite difficult to arrange)
We need contacts people! |

since i study in germany i can be in cyprus beggining of august :( |
