Hi Friends
just spent 3 days with Deep Purple and Now going with them to Sydney tomorrow and then Brisbane to catch the show on Sunday:
They where great: Ian Gillan put up a great show:
They where with Status Quo:
Some say they are over the hill and I say that people Half there AGE couldn't play Smoke on the Water like THEY DO!
Ian Gillan also gave me his New Solo CD called Gillans Inn:
You can buy it from the gillan.com website:
It has 18 songs with 18 guitarists:Including: Uli Roth, Steve Morse, Tony Iommi, Joe Satriani and others: Great CD:
Don't forget Ian also had a hit with the song Getaway with Michalis Rakintis:
So boys I will put up a few photos of Purple Rocking:
He is one from there Sound Check and one of my daughters friends and Ian Gillan:

| Hey! Tell Ian I saw him play Limassol when I was twelve! Stupidly i got myself right up front too and it was only because a couple of older kids I knew showed up that I wasn't crushed to death! Still see the dude that got up to hug him kicking around too! Ask when He's playing S-town again! |

Gardash I was there 2: It was 1985 and Ian was with his own band: Toolbox:
Then he left Toolbox and went back to Purple for the 25th anniversary Come Hell OR High Water Tour:

There will also be a special launch of his NEW CD:
After Australia they head back to Japan:
Remember the Deep Purple Made in Japan: It is still one of the best live albums in the world: Gillan sang Child IN Time and that huge One 1/2 minute scream at the end of Strange Kind of Woman:
Ian will be the first to come to visit Lapithos/Kyrenia when I get my land back and he knows that:
