It's a reasonable idea but would require setting up a whole new forum really and to be honest that is too much work for me right now.

We could have a test section of the forum but things like avatars / sigs affect the whole forum - so it would be of limited use. Actualy there is a test section in the forcum administration area already - but it's only viewable by admins :) |

Thanks for your reply...what I meant is that you could test your pictures and avatars on the body of the topic to see what it would like before adopting them. same with everything else...
In any case as you pointed out it will be too much work...do not worry about it....just a thought |

If all you want to is the above (test things in the body of the post) then I can easily open up the 'test' section that is already there. That's no problem. As long as people realise that if they change their avatars in the test section they will also change everywhere else in the forum. The only downside is it makes the front page a bit 'longer' than it is now. |

That is true it will make the front page a bit longer...but also it could be used for experementing on how to make polls amongst other things

| I don't see the point in this at all. I experiment with my avatar through the normal pages, if it looks rubbish, I change it... simple to do. I say scrap the test section. |
