I am watching lots of movies lately (about 3 a day). I am posting short movie reviews at my site here:

The RSS for the category is

These are mostly without spoilers and just have a few words so that I could easily remember the movie if I forget one. Maybe you'll find it useful. |

| Good stuff Leonid... what did you think of Hotel Rwanda. One of my friends has seen it and she said it was outstanding... keep meaning to rent a copy, but haven't got round to it yet. |

Well, it was a very good drama, which didn't touch me personally. Probably I was in a wrong mood for the film or something. I am not that well informed about political situation in Africa (especially of those hard times in 1990-ies), so it could have been educational, but it wasn't. The political situation per se wasn't covered deeply. Instead it was more about people. But I found it difficult to associate myself with any characters.
The acting and the music were excellent though.
Watching this film won't be a waste of time - that I can promise you. But I am not sure you'll be all excited about it. At least, I am not.
