| Has anyone seen Syriana yet? Mrs. Moose and I are considering going to see it on Saturday night, but I'd appreciate knowing whether it's worth a watch. |

I give it 2 out of 5. It resembled a scaffolding being put up in a pre-cast shape then the facts being bent too obviously to fit around it ... it was also dreadfully sluggish at times.
(Interestingly, a Pakistani friend, who saw it independently, was of the same opinion!)
The Road to Guantanámo is, by most accounts, better, and we shall be seeing it at the weekend. |

I watched Syriana and it's one of those movies that you don't regret watching but at the same time, you wouldn't miss too much if you never watched it in the first place. I would put it in the same category as Munich such that it's an OK movie but it's overrated.
If you want to watch a good movie, I'd recommend "Walk the Line". |

| I waited until someone in my family gave me the DVD. It was ok but it does give you a blink into the wicked world of politics. Thank God I am not a politician. |
