Tait chosen to replace Gillespie
Paceman Shaun Tait will make his Test debut for Australia in Thursday's fourth Ashes encounter at Trent Bridge.
The 22-year-old got the nod ahead of Glamorgan's Michael Kasprowicz as the tourists look for an alternative to the out-of-form Jason Gillespie.

4th Test underway... England won the toss and elected to bat...
Anyone who wants to listen, go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/4175912.stm and click on the audio box on the right-hand side...
I tried to get tickets, as Trent Bridge is just up the M1, but it's a sell-out. |

Just on a cricket-related theme, I remember discussing Canterbury Cricket ground with I think it was Dhavlos some time ago. It used to have a tree inside the boundary, for which a unique rule was written into the laws of cricket. I've just found out inadvertently that the old tree is no more, as a result of being struck by lightning and blown over in a storm.
Rest in peace old tree, I remember you well...
Instead, they've replanted a tree, but this time outside the boundary... Here's the current scene...
