We finally have a google rank that displays on the google toolbar
we have rank of 4 for the main site url
(www.talkcyprus.org/forum)
and rank 3 for the portal page and index page. |

Google rank is a 0-10 rating of 'how important' a given page is according to google. See hyere for more info.

4 is a pretty good rank I think. It is same as CF main page I believe and only one less than sites like cyprus-conflict. I am not aware of any Cyprus based sites with google rank >5 though there may be some (and if there are we would very much like a link from those pages :) ) |

Google Rank is an 'overall' rating of the 'importance' of a site.
Your google rank is not the same as the position you appear when searching for a specific terms, but an 'overall' assment of a pages 'importance' - so you do not need to 'google anything'. If you have the google toolbar installed this shows the google rank for any given page when you goto that page.
PS A correction on the above. Cyprus-Conflict has a google rating of 6 on its main URL, not five as I stated before. Still a rating of 4 for the www.talkcyprus.org/forum/ url is still pretty good imo, given that it is our 'first' such rating by google and we have been in existance less than a year. |

| The easiest way to see this is to install the google toolbar. This shows any paghes google rank whenever you visit a page. |
