I personally like to listen to something aggressive before any sports activites, normally something by Metallica in the car gets my blood pumping, adrenallin kicking in and making me feel alot more motivated.

Green Day 'American Idiot' or anything by Linkin Park works for me...

When I played rugby at school, I always found that listening to something mellow psyched me up strangely enough :?
