Here is a link that gives alot of info about Cyprus. Some of it is old but still usefull. I like what it said in the first section: "Cyprus is a country not a problem".

wow, nice. I only read the first few chapters as the rest seems to be a collection of facts for people that are posted/assigned to the island.
However, for everyone, needing general info about the island its a good source.
P.S. I liked this sentence (apart from the one 2fan mentioned):
"English is widely spoken and a proper British tea can be had even in remote mountain villages." **rofl** |

Nai re, but for someone who hates coffee in all its forms... iced, normal, cappucino, expresso, Turkish/Greek, even those coffee-flavoured chocolates... tea is my lifeblood. Ironically, the only person whose tea I like in Cyprus is my yiayia/nouna, who had never made a cup of tea in her life before she met me 6 years ago... |

I'm like you moose. Rarely does coffee touch my lips. I have to have tea every morning. Turkish style of course. Double boiler kind. That way you can control the concentration. Having a cup right now  |
