DId anyone else see it...im looking for a photo on the net, but cant find one to show you guys/gals.
Hey we could make something of this, where else have you seen the cyprus flag? especially when you least expected it, or in wierd places. If we can see photos, it would be great!! |

Weirdest place I can think of is 5 years ago when I was on an extended stay in central Canada. I was missing a bit of footy so decided to go and watch a 'crucial' world cup qualifying match between Canada and Panama taking place at a soccer 'stadium' (more like a park field) just outside Winnipeg. There was a crowd of about 1,500 people there and clustered on one of the temporary stands were a few Cyprus flags. Quite why they brought those to a match featuring two of the America's football giants  was beyond me... maybe it was an omen for me meeting my Cypriot wife 2 months later
Morale of the tale... beware the omens of strangely-located Cyprus flags... |

| FA Cup final is a usual spot as well... for the past three seasons running I've seen a couple of fried eggs being flown... |

Maybe it was George Efraim, or a George Efrem fun! He is a reserves player, and at the age of 16 he is one of the youngest ever if not the youngest to play for an Arsenal reserve team.He was transferred from Apollon Limassol 2 years ago and Arsenal describe him as one of their brightest prospects for the future..:) |

Nah the guy who takes the CYPRUS flag to the East Stand at Highbury has been doing it for years!
I know the guy who got George Efrem a trail at Higbury. He's a Black guy from this country he played a lot of Cypriot sunday league football in London, then played professonal for a lower division English side and now does some sort of scouting in Cyprus. |
