Question
There is a barrel with no lid and some wine in it. "This barrel of wine is more than half full," said Curly. "No it's not," says Mo. "It's less than half full."
Without any measuring implements and without removing any wine from the barrel, how can they easily determine who is correct?
There is an answer but lets see if anyone can get the correct solution before I post the answer.....

Couldn't resist posting the answer...
They must tilt the barrel until the wine just touches the top edge of the barrel. Then, if they are able to see the bottom of the barrel then it's less than half full... but if the bottom is still completely submerged then it's more than half full.

These are good fun I think but I think they should go into the 'jokes' section which I will rename - 'Jokes, Puzzles and quizes'. Mayve we can then agree a headings convention with joke posts starting
