I am getting 1MB of free internet browsing with my new contract and wondering how much this is.
And also does it mean i can read the forum on the bus?? |

You mean with your cell phone?
Heh, 1MB is nothing, especially if you consider that the average web page is between 60 to 80 KB (that's 0.06 to 0.08 MB). This means that your 1 MB will be exhausted after visiting about 12 web pages, which is what? 30 minutes of web browsing?
About reading TalkCyprus on the bus:
1. Yes, you can do it, if you have a 2.5G telephone that can do GPRS, and has a respectable mobile web browser, such as Mobile Internet Explorer, Mobile Opera, or NetFront.
2. It will cost you too much after your 1MB is gone. I don't know about the UK, but CytaNet charges 7 pounds for the first MB and 2 pounds per MB after that. So, your mobile bill can reach 300-400 pounds easily. :twisted: |

I don't think so, these are usually part of GPRS charging, that is, the same they use to charge Internet access.

because they are wankers.
i wanted a n70 but they were sold out so they sent me some other crappy phone. instead of sending it back and getting a n70 i had to cancel the contract and re-apply.
i hate them |
