G'day all,

I've created the talkcyprus group at Last.fm. If you never heard what Last.fm is: (quote from their site)

"Join the social music revolution at Last.fm. It's fun, it's free, it's all about the music. You get your own online music profile that you can fill up with the music you like. This information is used to create a personal radio station and to find users who are similar to you. Last.fm can even play you new artists and songs you might like. It's addictive, it's growing, it's free, it's music."

Most of the software nowadays has an appropriate plugin that would send information to last.fm as you play songs. In order to discover support for your own favorite software, go to http://www.last.fm/help/plugin and check for yourself.

If you want to join this, all you have to do is to register yourself which takes about 5 seconds and then join as many groups as you like. I've already created the "talkcyprus" group.

Cheers.

Seems cool but am I right in thinking that whatever I play on iTunes will appear on this group?

You can log into your profile and edit as you wish. I haven't done it, so I do not know the exact details yet.

Perhaps you can control the iTunes plugin to what to send and what to not send? But yea, that's the idea. You can see what I've been listening since last night, for example.
