I think its the 'funny' Google redirect url you have used.
Correcting that seem to work |

I am going to announce shortly my standing down as mod on the other forum and withdrawing from it as a member almost entirely.
Once I do that I do not know how the admin will react. Maybe they will remove my post, maybe not.
So what I suggest is that you do not jump into the thread announcing me decsion to stand down staright off (if you were going to) and then if the thread is removed and I am banned you can start to discretely pm a few of the members there. |

| I wrote in support of your position, but did not openly state my intentions. I'll work on contacting a few more folk next week. |

To the best of my knowledge PM are secure, from users, mods and admins.
However anyone who has access to the underlying sql database tables CAN view peoples PMs.
I have such access, though I do not intend to abuse this. I hope no one else has such access for if they do the securtiy of the entire forum is at risk |

Please do go ahead :)

They both use the same open source sw to drive the forums (phpBB) hence the similar look and feel. Hopefully over time I will be able to add features and 'design' that will make the place more distinctive and unique. Right noe we are pretty much 'out of the box' as far as the forum sw goes

That is the intent of this new forum - especially within the 'political / moderated' sections of the forum.
Welcome. |
