This stuff is great for breakfast.
Mince two smal Tomatos put in bowl.
Mince half a medium onion but in same bowl.
Mince a handful of turkish parsley and put in same bowl.
Generous portion of Danish Blue cheese or something comparable. Crumble it into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
Add salt and fresh ground pepper to taste.
quarter cup of extra virgin olive oil over the mixture.
DO NOT add lemon juice.
After mixing everything well cover the bowl with something and let it stay out in room temperature for an hour to let the flavors marry. Stir again and eat it with some crusty bread a have nice cup of tea with it.
This stuff is addictive.
Chokelek (cokelek) is a type of cheese in Mersin but you can substitute it with blue cheese. |
