Yes, but it should not be called marriage, since traditionally marriage is the union of a man and a woman. The gay couples should be given all the privileges that married couples get though.

With things going that far, one starts to wonder what will be the next step. Some pople might as well start demanding to be allowed to marry their pets.

Commiting acts of homosexuality should carry a maximum penalty of death.

It will happen, imho. One by one, all Eurpean countries are legalizing gay marriages. Before long, this will become a de facto human right, and we'll have to recognize them, even if the mere idea is anathema in our culture.

I can't even think of how to respond to this!
I think what Dhavlos said in another post about Islam being in the Middle Ages is perfectly justified by comments like this.

I think legalising gay marriages is inevitable. I think it's ok just as long as its a civil "Bonding" (as it's not a traditional marriage). However; couples may start asking for religious ceremonies and I think this is totally wrong.

This has nothing to do with Islam. Homosexuality is tolerated in many conservative countries such as Pakistan for instance.
The above attitude towads homosexuality exists both in the chrisitan and muslim world. Talk to some fundamentalist christians in the USA, and you are unlikely to get a different answer.

Re, sorry for being rude, but isn't Turkey famous for its gay culture? For example, Nikos Kazantzakis, in his book Christ Recrusified describes homosexuality being practiced by imams freely, as if by tradition.
