What do you think about Dan Brown's books?
I quite like them. I think they show good and evil can be anywhere, they are not restricted to any thinking or belief. |

I read the Da Vinci Code and the one abut the illuminati / pope (forget it's title).
SPOLIER - DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT READ DA VINCI CODE ALREADY AND MAY DO IN FUTURE. THE POST BELOW MAY SPOIL YOUR ENJOYMENT OF THE BOOK.
I found them enjoyable books as fiction. I do find it a bit strange though when people start taking them to seriously. Some of the issue raised in the books (like the holy grail being the secret that JC was married and has a blood line) have been discussed / mooted way before this book, and few people were interested. Now it seems like everyone is interested because of a good fiction book using these theories in it. Seems kinda strange to me |

| I think they have a message that good and evil can be in every belief. I dont' want to talk more for the new readers. |

| I think its great that the church allows this, i wish islam was a little bit more open minded and let ideas and theories flow. |

These books are actually have similar points with "Satanic Verses". Look at the different reactions. |

Exactly, when the satanic versus came out some states put bounties on the authors head. |

| Salman Rushdie still has a fatwa against him unless I'm mistaken. Ayatollah Khomeini was the one who placed it and died without rescinding it, so it still stands. |
