STATEMENT FROM G.J.ROBB

In the fullness of time the facts contained herein will be proven by the
appropriate authorities.

At this point I want everyone concerned to consider the logic of what I am
being accused of. These accusations seem to boil down to one charge -
namely that I have removed large sums of investors monies and run away.

To my mind the important points are as follows:-

I made no secret of my plans to expand my business in Asia, even telling a
large number of people face to face.

My Company had and still has large amounts of money in its accounts.

My contracts still have a very large amount of money yet to be collected.

I personally have a house, cars and all my personal possessions still in
Cyprus.

My family lives in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

My investments in the infrastructure of my Company was, at the time of my
departure, intact with no attempt to liquidate.

My Companies assets, that include lands, property, a Nightclub business etc
all remain legally attached and again no attempt has ever been made to
remove them.

My question to you is, please ask yourselves, is this how someone who is
planning to run away with as much as possible would organise things. I
think not.

Any monies that have been spent were either legitimate profits from Land
Sales, as I am the land owner, or monies used in the expansion of my
business.

I welcome any and every Police or Government investigation as this will
serve to show that firstly the allegations levelled at me are absolutely
groundless and secondly that any wrong doing is not of my making.

An audit of the Companies Accounts will show that all monies are accounted
for and money on hand plus contracted stage payments plus asset values
equal cost of completion.

If anybody knows that this information is incorrect would they please
submit the evidence to the relevant Police or Government Department.


So why doesn't he come back and sort it out?

So if he is so innocent why does he not fly back and prove his innocence.

I would guess - and this is only a guess - that he wants to make sure that he will not be arrested if he returns and or summarily shipped back to the UK against his wishes.

It is alledged that he absconded during a trial in the UK and that there are UK arrest warrants pending for him on drugs related charges (though if he is in Thailand as some claim the UK could seek extradition of him from there should they wish to).
