This student at nottingham university created it just before starting his first year. I read an article in the Times about this...
He decided one day that he wanted to be a millionaire before he became a student and he came up with that webpage. He sells each pixel for $1 or something like that and obviously companies buy more than one.
Apparently he was the first to create this type of advertising company, and loads of people copied after.

I know people who buy space on them sitesa s presents fortheir mates. Just enough to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY etc.
