Cyprus flag designs
The diagonal division represent political equality of the two communities, as well as corresponding to the approximate geographical borders of the constituent states. The colors represent respect for and the harmonization of permanent Greco-Turko origins and traditions. Everything intersecting at Cyprus represents our common history and what compels the two communities to form peace and harmony.

same as before...but without the olive leaf...and instead the insignia of both the north and south(but take out the date...maybe)

olive branch of peace...green and yellow - 'national colours' and the star represents the one/united people of an undivided cyprus
