OK so Yiouvarlakia are nice, not too often but I like them.
As for Kanella, I LOVE IT and we dont put it anywere it does n't go!!
"Curry on Galaktompoureko" - PLEASE BE SERIOUS!
I like both souvlaki, the Greek one with the tzanziki and the Cypriot one with lemon and salad in the pitta but truth be said the Greeks cook with a lot of cheese and they love frying and I just think that there food is generally very heavy, they also love eating really late at night which makes it really hard to digest! |

My family kind of mix the the two together, Souvlaki with lemon and salad (mmmm... ) and a bit of tzansikki or just yogurt on the side!! Very tasty!!
Also we don't always have 'pitta souvlakia' , we also have Souvla (bigger chunks of meat) not in a pitta bread, again very tasty!! (Although that could just be my family! )

why should I be serious when posting in a thread about avgolemono?!?
And you're wrong, we only fry small fish and potatoes, any other exceptions are just that; exceptions. On the other hand, we only eat "souvla"ish food on Easter and not on workdays, now that's certainly not healthy!
PS
I like my chicken kanella-free there's nothing you can do to stop me!
Sorry for still being not serious!

I wasn't feeling bad, I would if I had had a kanella snack for lunch but I didn't, so no need to make me feel better! Thanks though

It's a pita ROLL that contains pork in the form of either gyros or kalamaki (meat-on-a-stick-without-the-stick), thin onion rings, tomato, tzatziki and occasionally some french fries

All that tzatziki, you lot must spend a fortune in Breath Mints.
We Cypriots, on the other hand, use lemon. This allows us to go out at night and talk to women without them running away.

If you are getting side affects then you should not so much.
You will have to try better than that.

The side effect of excessive ing is that you look and act like a "MALAKAS", you should know that by now. Anyway, judging by your attitude it's obvious that lemon does NOT work for you
"You will have to try better than that"? Are you joking? Do you really consider your posts to be challenging or smart? Please DO limit the ing! |

MY attitude??? MY attitude??? Stop now before you make a total fool of yourself.
Oops, too late, looks like you have by reverting to childish name calling. Well done.
You had to make it personal. Don't worry, I will not be calling you names. I have no reason to. I don't know you personally so it would be stupid of me to judge you.
I do wonder though, if you would be so tough guy face to face. I think not.
Anyway, you were starting to get a little personal with the girls which is why I jumped in as I could see that you were the sort to take things too far. I was right.
Don't take it so personally. It's a bit of fun. Don't give it if you can't take it.
And stop with the childish name calling as well.
Everyone has been generalizing here.

WOW...
Calm down, no need to lose your temper over tzatziki and lemon! I misunderstood your using of the icon as an attempt to spice up the talk, but you were actually attacking me. I wouldn't have responded the way I did had I known that. Anyway, I'm really sorry, I thought you could handle some silly talk but I was wrong |
