Do you know what Mahalepi is? Have you ever tasted it? And if so could you provide here a recipe how to make it ? Maybe the Turkish recipe is different to the Greek one? The last time I checked the recipe this was as follows:
5.5 glasses of water
1 glass Nisiaste
1 tablespoon sugar
3-4 tablespoons rosewater |

The recipe i have is:
Mahalepi
For each cup of water used, add 2 heaped tablespoons of corn flour. Bring to the boil with a cracked cardamom pod, until transluscent and thick. Pour into bowls and allow to set overnight in the fridge.
Add sugar to taste and rosewater. |

| That stuff is just nasty. Looks like you just chopped up a person and served it in a bowl. |
