Well done Erolz for getting himself heard

To be honest I only made that post in a vain and unscusessful attempt to get the talkcyprus URL onto the BBC website. As I suspected they removed the URL and referance to the site. Still worth a shot I guess.

That is the first time I have submitted anything to BBC using their 'comment' facility :)

It's not the first time I have been on BBC website though (or BBC news, BBC radio, BBC watchdog programme, Newsnight and various other BBC outlets - in a 'previous' life) Wink

I've made it once, but only by posting an 'extreme' view... Wink

No moose. What i actually meant was to LITERALLY write about the forum in his post.

As a Cypriot that hopes for the reunification of Cyprus I support Turkish accession. It can only help agree a settlement in Cyprus. Turkish accession is in everyone's long term benefit: Cyprus, Turkey the EU and the world. We must not let 'fear' or unreasonable demands stop this potential benefit.

We're getting off the point again, so this will be my last word on the matter... you actually said that he should have dropped a Talkcyprus.org in there, which effectively says that he should have posted the url. If you were thinking differently you should have made this explicit. We're not psychics... still, you've already confused others today with your Cyprus-Ireland footy post, so it's not the first time the signals from planet Demetre have got crossed...

As for calling me a fool, you're not Mr. T, so get a grip...

I did litteraly write about the site in my submission and include the url. The BBC editors then edited (thats what editors do you see) this original post down to just leave the elements of the post that did not refer to the site.

Just so you know.

No, Turkey is not to join the EU. Ten new countries just got in and they need to settle in first. This will take a couple years. No thanks!
