Hello and welcome to the discuss cyprus forum

This forum was created because of the need for there to be a place where Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot and others can discuss issues related to Cyprus and where those that wish to have such discussions can be protected from an extremists minority that wish to undermine such efforts.

It is early days in the life of this forum. It still has many rough edges and very little content. With your input and support I hope we can build it over time into a useful resource and an interesting, thought provoking and pleasant place for all who use it.

As it stands there are no formal rules in place. My hope is that these will develop over time and with the input of forum members.

The basic overriding principle as far as 'rules' go is that of 'show respect' to others that post and view these forums.

Other than that the forums is split into to main areas. A 'unmoderated' non political area and a 'moderated' political area.

Remember, I had given a break to the forum for a period because of my dissertation and when I came back, I saw no one, just piratis, vp, kifeas and MS. I just searched for "erolz" in yahoo and I came across to this forum. It is all luck Wink
