Afternoon guys

Does anybody have an objection to becoming a moderator? I don't want to become some power-crazed lunatic. I just want to keep this place free from spam. Thought I would ask before I spoke to Erolz. Since we all love democracy etc Wink

Absolutely! If you are up to it, you can also think of ways to revive this forum. I'm pretty sure it could be done and pretty sure that lots of old members are still around.

...it is a valuable site still visited by readers who need a variety of opinions on which to base their own decisions. it is still offering a balance to the view that the Problem is Cypriot as much as "Greek" and "Turkish".

Very good generally speaking.

spent the last summer driving from London to Mongolia which was nice. Saw alot of the Stans. Spent 5 days in Turkey.

You guys put Kebabs on Pizzas. Genius and odd in equal measures. Also came a fan of Turkish Tea, mainly the sugar more than the tea but lets not split hairs.

Still studying, hence my general absence. Might be popping over to the island in Easter. First time since 2001 I think.

Fine by me you as a mod. Seems you have grown up since this venture here started off almost 5 years ago and since I last (well, was a one off) saw you Wink

Taking into consideration that seemingly none of the mods is here on a daily basis, I think it would be good to have you as a new addition to the team.
So everybody will do a bit of part time and we should get the job covered.
