Today it is possible to talk about a potential “solution” to the Cyprus problem because the Republic of Cyprus has successfully kept the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” unrecognized. Had that not been achieved then nobody would be talking about any kind of “reunion” today.
One can therefore easily conclude that the deprivation of the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” is a principal ingredient to the preservation of the contiguousness of Cypriot territory. |

Again you simplify the current stalemate in Cyprus with your justification of the NON recognition of the Turkish Cypriots and that is only because you want your cake and you want to eat it as well , you think because the EU was STUPID enough to admit the south that has put you in a powerfull position to negotiate with , you are sorely mistaken , you have not got as much bargaining power as you would like with anyone , that is what your Puppet President wants you to believe , the Almighty Tassos Papadopoulos who stood up to the great Enemy , ha you make me laugh , he is as powerfull as saddam Huseyin who is six foot under , you Mugs are in dream land . |

He will go and you will all still be looking at your homes from a distance because he does nothing that he promised , you will never get peace in cyprus with men like him at the top , there will never be a solution with his kind of mindset , he holds no key to the Cyprus Prob anyway!!!!
The Turks from Turkey hold ALL the Keys , and as Cypriots , Turkish & Greek we are left to survive while the powers that be make themselves and their Famil's Richer and Richer |

yes i know that already.....but what can i do ? the greek cypriots dont understand that tassos dont want to do anything about our homes.
before the war of 74 our families live together with peace....why can we still live with peace now? who the hell can decide about this?
i dont say that we dont have differences , because we have a lot of diefferences, like language, flag, history, wars....however i dont like this situation. i want to go and stay to my grandmother's house. i want to live at my real home and make a garden with lot of flowers and trees, at my mother's land, (actually is a mountain) and i want to travel with my car without any passports...it is really funny thing because you feel like a stranger in your own country....but i cant do anything, because greek cypriots said NO.
anyway... |

Then I say three Governments:
the Republic which is sovereign over defending our Individual Rights, and our State, where we stand united whether our origins are white or black, chinese or jew, a turcophone, or a "Greek"
And two National Assemblies (or three if you include the Maronites) to sustain the distinct identity the people of Cyprus have, through their self representation as a majority on a given terrain, respectfully inclusive to their minorities, and Democratic, equal as citizens, each person with one vote.
This is Bi-Communal.
An island geographically Bi-Zonal would mean that both its parts have pockets, or enclaves of their counterpart (two National Assemblies) spotting their territory. The reciprocal nature of this solution resolves the issue of displacement for thousands of Settlers who will gain a home, rather than a house.
The Right of Return for tens of thousands, Grecophone or Turcophone will be respected, and in their enclaves they can return as communities.
These ideas may seem new, but they are not, although their origin is unclear, credit is given to particular leaders on both sides of this divide. |

| Too easy for some , the real aim of politics is the protection of their power and nothing less , even if it means overpowering a minority , sorry especially |
