Boys and Girls thanks to Layla and Erolz I have come up with an idea to try to get funding from the EU (Which Has plenty of CASH to Splash) for our Forum! Surly there is some money set aside (IF TPAPA and others haven't spent it) for inter communications! (Big word but you know what I mean):
Do you think we should approach the UN or the EU for a few bucks?
cheers DP!
PS If that doesn't work THEN we can use one of my credit cards Specially if I get Mike Ranns support! |

The site really does not need funding.
It is kindly hosted for free by the positive internet company. The only other cost involved has been the domain name registration which I am happy and able to cover. I am only not happy to cover such when I feel that the forum is used to make false claims about me (intentional or careless) - thats when I start to feel disgruntled. |

Erolz all I can say is Join the Club!
I have nearly had the most criticism and sometime praise from many on this forum:
What my main thing is that I look at how many people view my postings:
I want to give that alternative opinion and not what my parents have in bedded in my head:
What we try to do is our own opinion to what went is the injustice in Cyprus or what we believe is the answer to a solution!
I will always support the return or proper compensation for ALL Cypriots who did loose there legally owned land! Why? Because my family was one of them!
AS for the funding I cant see WHY the site cant receive some of the MILLIONS of UN & EU Dollars that have been dwindle away by the Republic of Cyprus & the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and use them to set up a monthly meeting at a coffee shop: Or set up a workshop or even a bus trip to the south or to the Nth: Integration between all parties:
Erolz believe me the money is there and believe me that there will be things that it can be put forward too!
cheers |

Dep, as well intentioned as you are in suggestign this....a website doesnt need constant care and attention, like a proper organisation. AS long as teh space is provided (thank you to erol and the ISP) then that is all we need.
Im sure im correct in saying, we are all here to just have a space to discuss things freely. And i would liek to thank erol for providing it and organising the original set up. |

It's not your opinions that we have a problem with. You insulted Erol by suggesting that he edits posts of other people on this forum. That's the problem. It's not only a lie but it's also disrespectful for all the work Erol did to set up this forum. |

Thanks mete - as ever a sucsinct and germain summary and thanks to those that posted kind words here and elsewhere.
For the record appologies to DP and the members in general for my 'outburst'. I wanted DP to realise how upset I was but such swearing is not in my online character nor is it in the spirit of the forum so sorry to all. I am 'touchy' about this subject because I have made and make every effort to ensure that this forum (unlike many) is not one where the owner or admins abuse the power they have by editing posts , deleting posts and the like unilateraly and on a whim. To me it is a matter of the intergity of the forum and by extension myself and false accusations from those that use the forum, even when not their actual intent, are still hurtful and insulting and disparaging of these efforts.
I hope DP understands this and for me the matter (the accusation and my outburst in response) is now closed and forgotten. |

Erolz I accept your apologies and I hope you accept mine which I did so call Fucked UP!
Don't forget when I was born the only computer we had Space Invaders!
I will put the records straight again: I didn't not wish to say your edit my postings or anyone Else's posting:
What I was meant to say is that sometime when I post an article in the whole you then modify it into an attachment so it doesn't take up so much room and I understand this:
Why I do this is because I don't know how at add it as an attachment:
You cant except DP to know everything!
And at time I feel that if the article is an attachment maybe people wont read it BUT if it is posted as a whole it will be read:
So I say sorry again:
As Zan said where is the song?????????????
The song is ready BUT HOW do you put it UP on the site?
I have asked many people and no one will reply:
Also the song the Rock:
Erolz keep up the good work and lets try to get EU/UN funding because:
1: The money is there:
2: It is a Fantastic Forum which expresses what both side of the green line feel are the problems with Cyprus:
3: It wont be squandered like the millions that the Republic of Cyprus & Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus blow!
cheers
PS I am also a bit tired: I am in the live stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar with the Lightwood Theater Company:
I have the part of Pontius Pilot!
IF i was 10 years younger I would of got the job of JUDAS!
cheers again!
PS Erolz I love you when you get mad! |

Great postings, thank-you all.
Sort of on the subject of resources and the internet... I would like to see chat rooms, set up as legislatures on web sites like ours. A seperate chat room for this effect to draw into the discussion a form of responsible debate for its participants, through their motions and their acts, providing information, and action, which may result in progessive agreement, and accords which we can identify as universal.
Money, Manpower, and Infrastructure is needed...(thats all)... for me to have the opportunity to participate in a mock government with motions, their debate, and a decision on their passage...it would be nice...
the point being, with 'chat room technology', so much can be done to encourage participation which enlightens and which is reasoned, having a quarum is a strong example of this desire to place Cyprus first, because, as we know, ordinary people will participate from all over the world, on this issue, given the opportunity. |

| erm, repulsewarrior, what are you asking for? A live chat system or a voice chat system? The forum provides both. |

No... a 'place' which has a function, like a legislature, (having a structure and rules) where I can join a 'party' or sit as an independant, perhaps form a party, to discuss issues that are 'The Cyprus Problem', presented as motions for the assembly''s debate and a vote by quorum. Its acts building the principals which these people can support.
Now that I'm writing about it, I realise we would need many more active participants for this to be fun, but I still think it is a good idea. |

What we should do is get Tpapa and Talat to look, read and listen to people on this forum and look at what really bothers the Greek Cypriot & Turkish Cypriot and not just line their pockets with Money and Glory DOXA!
I might email both of them:
As for Denktash & Clerides they would have a heart attack if they read this forum because they WOULDN'T be able to silence the forum LIKE in the OLD DAYS!
