LILLIKAS - MOSCOW - OIL
Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs George Lillikas wrapped up a visit to Moscow on Wednesday with a speech at a briefing on the exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits in the island`s exclusive economic zone.
Welcoming at the Cypriot Embassy in Moscow the representatives of 25 Russian energy and hydrocarbon exploitation companies, Lillikas said "the government of the Republic of Cyprus believes that the time has come for Cyprus to join the research for hydrocarbons in its exclusive economic zone, an activity in which neighboring countries have been engaged for some decades."
Lillikas referred to research so far and announced that the Republic of Cyprus "is offering eleven sections of research to interested oil companies," and called on friendly countries, such as Russia, to show an interest through their companies.
DP:
What will Turkey do?
Threaten Russia like it tried to do with Egypt & Lebanon?
Lets wait and see!

| Indeed,... and it is just as possible that the alliance between Turkey and the USA will be strengthened if a similar agreement is spurned by the Cypriot State with American partners. |

Sorry guys but the Russians are already in bed with Turkey and imo Tpap and cronies are just having wishful thinking at best and the made statements were just pleasentries at best.
What most do not realise is that all the big players on our war mongering planet have investments and long term strategic plans in and with Turkey hence little cyprus will be forever thinking it might happen when the truth is it will NEVER happen. |

Brother! Little Cyprus I love that comment!

PS: Mae West once asked about Errol Flynn:
He looks very small:
Yes he is he is 5 foot 11 inches!
She said don't worry about the 5 foot it is the 11 inches I am interested in!
Maybe Russia and others are ONLY interested in 11 inches of Cyprus!

100%cypriot, you are absolutelly right, some don't have the stomach for a real one on one battle, as you said! Just like the Turkish invasion in 1974, which was a very good example of a 100 to 1 battle (Turkey then 60 million, Cyprus only 600 thousands!) |

Kifreas remember Turkey only succeeded because of help from:
Britain:
The USA:
AND the Greek Cypriot traitors!
Turkey only landed on 200meter of sand near Pente Mili the first few days and then HAD to resort to the UN Ceasefire to achieve their ultimate goal of taking a piece of Cyprus! You know Turkey and its tricky! The still try to do it today with the Kurds & Armenians and the EU!
BUT Hey that is what WAR is about! NO RULES!
Kifreas let me tell you a secret so no one knows on this Forum!
One of my Uncle was paid I don't know how much money to hoist the Turkish Flag on the school at Ayia Anastasia even thou the Turks where still in Kyrenia!
Can you believe it?
Then most of the Greek Cypriot fighters dropped their guns and said we are surrounded lets run!
I asked him why the hell he did it and his answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saved them from being killed by the Turks: ~They couldn't win!
What traitors mate!
Also my cousin Haroulis was given bullets for his rifle by the a Greek Lieutenant with NO firing pins: So the bullets would NOT fire!
But he was OK!
He went back to the Greek Lieutenant and shot him with a pistol!
My cousin Andonis was given Hand grenades that didn't work!
So WHO is really to blame for Cyprus??????????
cheers
PS Get Real?
Why don't you GET .......................................what is the word again?
Oh yes......................REAL! |

| Russia didn’t even come to make an offer even if we stall for one month for them the offerings day. The oil fiasco is equal to the general Cypriots stupidity; I have more to say for this but who cares? Did you ever see any Donkey thinking like a human? |

Yep, but you had your mainland greeks helping out, didn't you. But let's talk about realities: Your glorious president has hijacked the EU causing the TR to look elsewhere. Such a tiny island, with alot of fulcrum. The Europeans are ashamed of you and your lot. |
