Death by mobile??

I got this by email.....can anyone tell me if this is true?

It's more likely to be a dodgy cable or plug socket!

Have never heard of something lieke that. Can only imagine it was an exception as Leyla said.
But as all technical equipment there might be faulty hardware sometimes; like last year when they re-called all these laptops cause the battery could explode.

I am an electrician and this can happen with only a dodgy charger, probably not a bona fide model or if it has been tampered with. For the proper charger to go wrong to such an extent......I can only say that it would have to be a very rare freak accident.
