Erolz I am sure Turkey is closer to Israel than ANY Islamic country in the world:
Somehow most Arabs in Australia tell me that Turkey was the dog of America BUT now they are the dog of Israel:
Why would they say something like that?

There has always been mistrust between Turks and Arabs, not least because Arabs stabbed Turkey in the back in World War I for their own independence and look what that got them: the state of Israel!

As for Turkey being their dogs, thats a relationship driven by the military first and foremost, not necessarily the politicians. That is why Erdogan practically called them a terrorsit state during the Hezbollah war last summer, why the AKP party invited Hamas leader to Turkey and why Erdogan is dispatching a delegation to inspect the work going on the Temple Mount.

Turkey is not the dog of Israel, in fact it is Israel who places more importance on the relationship with Turkey than vice versa.

There not many countries that Israel hasn't got an influence in and that's including Australia:
The Arab countries will never be united when they fight each other over trivial things like the interpretation of the Koran!
This infighting is exactly what Israel & the US wants and people are too blind to work it out!
The good old divide and rule trick!
