Moving to Paphos

Hello:

I am a software engineer moving to Paphos. I am still unclear if i am offered a good salary. I have solid 5 years experience in programming in .net, SQL and c#. THey are offering 1500 euros for this job + health benefits. Can I haggle for more ??? If anyone is in the same software industry please advice.

The right salary depends more on the job responsibilities than on your experience.

However, if the responsibilities require someone with at least your experience, implying large responsibilities and a personality to count on, then 1500 EUR sounds a little low - perhaps 2000 EUR would be more like it. But then again, possibly Paphos has lower salaries then Nicosia...

It would be interesting to hear what such a job would pay in northern Cyprus.
