I'm asking for a beating but I can't stand tarhana! Maybe it was forced on me as a child but I can't even smell the stuff without feeling the need to run a mile .. I prefer good old Cypriot chicken soup. |

I think I will give lunch a miss today ... my Grandfather always got me to try these "delicacies"by insisting that the meat was chicken... I'm surprised I still eat chicken sometimes.. |

Of course the best of the best delicacy is lamb's balls on charcoal..with lots of salt and lemon... Cypriot women especially love the stuff.... |

Ok so lunch is definately out of the question now and I think dinner is as well if you carry on I must admit I might try taranha again as so many people seem to like it so I am prepared to give it another go..as for lamb's balls...i would rather munch on babutsas that have yet to be peeled... |

Well its better if you do!!! Old Aristotelis from my village who was an expert in castrating billy-goats,rams, bulls etc, took the balls as his pay only. He lived until 105 and according to his wife Ifigenia he was a bull himself until his death.... |
