How compimentry of the TPAP gov to insult Another soveriegn nation who has volunteered to send its army to stop the fighting in Lebennon,
No doubt the south cyprus Gov needs to keep its troop at home to protect the people from the wicked Turks.
I think the TPAP Gov has a lot to learn when it comes to Diplomacy
"Government Spokesman Christodoulos Pashiardis said that the Republic of Cyprus would decide whether or not it would participate in a peacekeeping force for Lebanon if and when the UN decides to establish such a force and calls on Cyprus to contribute."
Read the rest of this Garbage from a so Called Spokesman representing a SO CALLED Cyprus Gov

I made a point of getting it from a Greek source otherwise our Greek friends on the forum would start to scream Propaganda |

To a comment that Turkey has expressed its willingness to lead this peacekeeping force, Pashiardis said Turkey had been invited to the Rome meeting on the Middle East.
``I do not know the exact reasons for which Turkey was invited and participated in this meeting, nor of course do I know the reasons why some people want the involvement of Turkey in efforts to solve the escalating crisis in Lebanon and peace in the region. I can only assume that the sole serious reason is Turkey`s unquestionable and recognised specialisation in issues of invasion, victimisation of refugees and ways of creating refugees,`` he said.

lol its true...what Israel is doing to Lebanon is almost identical to what Turkey did to Cyprus. Turkey's presence as a peace keeping force would be the biggest contradiction ever. |

Do you realy think that the comment made by the Spokesman was Wise ?
If this kind of thing is thrown at Turkey she will just dig her heals in even more over the Cyprus issue |

It probably wasnt diplomatically wise...but its what most people, who have a knowledge on the Cyprus issue, are thinking I suppose.
Guess it makes up for the bitching Talat does about TPap...and then you wonder why he is reserved about meeting that Zanussi molestor. |
