The same Scene will go on on august 10th
If turks make the mistake coming to match and even wave the Turkish Occupied North Cyprus flag BELIEVE me ... its gonna be a mess...
APOEL fans are well known about Hooliganism acts.

the Republic of Cyprus , including tpap himself know all too well, how much negative impact an act of hooliganism might have in such a game. and just like last year, the police will do her job. and it will do it well.

The two games will turn out to be a political football. (pun not intended.

This is how stupid supporters from both sides will be.

Last seasons match in Turkey between Trabzonspor and Anorthosis saw many flags of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the crowd. How grown up of the Trabzonspor supporters.

Same will happen this time again.

Apoel will not shy from dragging out the Greek flags when the match in Nicosia is played.

How about Trabzonspor supporters waiving Turkish flags and Apoel supporters waiving Cypriot flags?

Just a thought but don't hold your breath.

Last time I checked Trabzonspor was a Turkish team and Apoel was a Cypriot team. Don't believe me? says so on the UEFA web site.

If the turks try to wave the other turkish flag (that that's whiter) they will regret it... I really promise you that...
Apoel Always is Waving the GREEK flag....
Do you know what A.P.O.E.L stands for?

APOEL is a Cypriot team right? Then it's a Greek team. In the past the Cypriot Teams who were Champions were having part in the Greek Championship. But AKEL didn't really liked that since they are a bunch of turk lovers and stopped it...
Eiter you like it or Not... we are GREEK cypriots.
The word "cypriot" doesn't stand for anything , except the "communist" and the commie-style Neo-Cypriots....

Hammerskin, welcome to the forum. The quote above, implies that you have lived a life isolated from contact with your counterparts: our country, in this endeavour we have the good fortune to call our origins.

I am glad to see this zeal, my hope, is that you will choose to apply your energy to communicate ideas as a writer, for our readership, that needs to know more, and as an example of the welcoming nature we wish to express for our engagement.

Quote:

On the blood of thousands, and on the backs of hundreds of thousands you enjoy a free ride because they gave their lives, as Cypriots. And we, who are Cypriots remain patient, civil, and willing, as people of reason, for an end to subjugation, and the isolation keeping us apart.

I say my roots are Christian, if someone asks me. Like Hellens around the world, they are proud as as I am, and feel fortunate to share in their culture and their language. But to have your roots in Cyprus means a connection to one of the religions of the world. Our bible written in a kind of Greek, was the "everyman" language of the world, as English is used today. What is special are the goats that run free on our island, or the little hut where Barnabus was found, or Teke, our religion founded at their origin has always been to one God. Your duty as an Orthodox Christian, if you call yourself Greek, or Greek Cypriot is to serve well this One, by loving, following the Golden Rule, toward all people.

Your contribution is important to us all.
