I was also thinking about going to Fasouri water park, a bit more of an expensive day out but its an option.  |

Can i just ask a simple question here ?
What do they charge to get into these theme parks and water centre's etc etc ? Is it like the UK? |

i am not a big fun of water parks , but if people want to go, it is always an option.
another option is a short visit to kolossi castle and curium theatre and ayios ermogenis beach. being on the west side of the "foot" of cyprus has usually more waves, and kids have more fun.... or else we go straight to ladys mile. usually no waves , and no deep waters. absolutely safe 
any other limassolean proposals ? |

so the date you are all aranging is 26th?
and i didnt quite understand where you all wanted to meet?
why not in nicosia so everyone can come?( bit ore central) or why not in the north since we had oh xmas one in south.
p.s:
1. on the 26th there is DOGSTOCK festival in paradise pomos, paphos whitch i d hate to miss and you shoud al go.
2.deff not a fan of the water park idea .splaaash |

@marina , it seems bananiot, moonskin and bro were also interested. not so many , but still....
@filio. welcome back.
why limassol ? bc you werent around to press for another option
in such warm days, i believe going to the beach is better than going to nicosia. no offence for the horaites 
as to the question why south , i have no problem in meeting in the north. marina suggested ladies mile , and noone posed any objection. i have no problem in changing the meeting place, if it thats the will of the people.
going to polis (and even further) is a good idea. i was in polis for camping already last week, and i would have no problem in going there again
i am not sure thought if it is a good idea for family people (marina, bro ,bananiot (?) and liza(?) ).
another choise is to meet in limassol at noon , and then the willing (or free from other obligations) continue the journey in the afternoon , with direction pomos ,visiting the concert and camping at night.

I was thinking about proposing for you guys to come over and be our guests but currently I am busy moving my apartment to Cyprus, so I am quite hectic currentlly and above all, do not have any internet at all!
Listen, I am writing this message from an internet cafe and I will not be around for some more time until I get my computer back in Cyprus from cargo.
I am basically ok with any dates I guess. We could change the 26th.
We could meet in Kyrenia too, I guess. I seem to remember that this was the plan when the first meeting took place at gardas, that people in the North would host you the next time. So, I am with filio on this one.
So, are you guys ok having the meeting in North and in Kyrenia to be more precise? Let me know and I will try to arrange something, you could be my guests for example...We will see...
Also, people who do not want to post here that they want to participate should better start pm-ing one of us so that we can get a better picture on the number of people willing to participate.
I am also quite shocked at the low interest in this thread actually! I mean, not even Erol replied, whose presence is mandatory in a sense (given that he is in Cyprus...)

I am hoping to come along as well wherever it takes place.
I do think it would be 'fair' to have it in the north this time, but I am not gonna get all 'cypriot' about it
I would also be more than willing to host at my home here in Kyrenia, as well as ferry as many people as I can from Ledra crossing to my house. |

but when it comes to us two, you will be hosting twice
but as erol said, i will not get cypriot about it its up to marina and liza i guess. bananiot and bro should be in any case closer to kyrenia than to limassol. |

I think it good to meet in the north this time. unless someone objects to it for obvious reasons.
1. does anyone object in meeting in the north?
also,
how about having a day trip somewere? pic-nic type of thing? everyone brings a little something?
there are nice pic nic areas on troodos especially on the nicer side of "stavros tis psokas" i think. nice green and cool. are there similar spots in the north? i seen a pic nic place near the highway that goes to kerinia just before the bit turn.
2. so how about a pic-nic?
correct me if i wrong but by now we should be expecting:

Hi guys, sorry I have nt been around much but I am at home with the kids (dont ask!).
Unfortunately I can only do Limassol due to the fact I will be with a two and a four year old and its not so easy to travel too much!
I dont mind if you guys want to do it in the north, I will just have to meet up with you all next time. |
