Didn't you know that Tony is a traitor, 100%cypriot? He got what he deserved for! Nobody should dare to talk about Turkish Cypriot sufferrings when 1/3 of Cyprus is still under "invasion", didn't you know that?

You speak with such anger !
So what did he do that imply's that he is a Traitor?

So does that mean unless someone states an emotion of hate towards T/C's that makes them a traitor?
Your scratched record comment's do no good to anyone and i thought the south allowed freedom of speach, your comments are too one sided and you must realise there are cyriots on the Island that speak another language, i.e the T/C's , are they not humans next to G/C's? or do you still see them as second class citezen's ?
It is very worrying to hear such comments that just cement the dig your feet in prospective against re-unification.

Relax, my friend. I was being sarcastic. I assumed you would realize that being a Turkish Cypriot, I wouldn't call a man who cares about Turkish Cypriot sufferings a traitor.

I was trying to point out how ironic it is that some Greek Cypriots complain about lack of democracy in Turkey day and night, and yet they fail to acknowledge the exact same problem in their community. That alone shows me that they don't really care about democracy or human rights in general but they only care about these universal values when they can simply be used as instruments to achieve their aims.

Until you can show me clear evidence that Tony Angastiniodis life is in threat or an attempt has been made to take his life, then I can only take what you say as here-say. There is so much BS that comes from the Turkish media, that I refuse to insult my intelligence by just believing everything that is said.

Of course making a film about Turkish Cypriot persecution is going to upset Greek Cypriot but you cannot compare that to the media manipulation that goes in Turkey. Come on, Turkey has a serious human rights problem and various journalists have been persecuted or killed, you cant just say Cyprus and Turkey have the same problem just to even things up...it doesnt work like that.

Its not other peoples views, its the views of people that believe and regurgitate the same old twisted stories with no factual evidence. Instead of looking at things with common sense, you beleive everything that is written in the heavily biased Turkish press.

You have seen the proof but are trying to hide it.

From the man himself:

Tony Angatiniodis wrote:
I will like to show you one of the most resent emails I have received so you may understand some of the things I have to deal with everyday.
It’s only to show you what extreme nationalism can create in the hearts of people.

Translation in English.

People with Turkish sperm traitors like you deserve death and a shameful death and you will have it

The chief
George Grivas Digenis

I receive about hundred emails of this kind every month.
Is this the island you want to live in?
Not me not my children, that’s why I do with joy and peace of heart what I do.

You won't find this in any Turkish Press.

Anyway, howzzat for evidence, enough for ya or would his death at the hands of some EOKA seeking Turk hating Greek Cypriot's would be a more prefered "evidence"?

Well if in the event that an attempt was made on his life, I pretty much hope (or am sure) that the Republic of Cyprus is not as corrupt as Turkey and would bring try to bring the murderers to justice.

...at the end of the day, you cant compare a silly email to TA with the death of Turkish Cypriot journalists by Turkish nationalist fanatics (something which im sure your glad to see Eric)

I don't believe he has to, the email I posted comes from another forum that DLS was, I belive, a memeber of under a different name. He knows about the email and knows about the thread Tony Angationitis started himself. DSL is just trying to hide facts, that's all. Wink

He could try it in the so called "democratic Republic of Cyprus" which is an Eu country but I think he knows nothing will be done.

WHo knows, maybe the authoritites there would excuse the emails as "freedom of speech". Wink Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

My point was that Tony has been blasted by all in his own quest to find the truth and he continually recieves threats from his own people and people in high profile positions,
Does that show Cyprus in the light of a Democratic FREE speech society?
DLS look at the picture from all the angles !

By the way here is that link that i mentioned to you
