You're right. Not much I can do I'm afraid - an exclusively Cypriot book service has yet to materialise - but I'm blazing a trail! As for info. on the book, magikthrill, the following link explains all: http://www.talkcyprus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3321

Well i have read the book from cover to cover and my initial assesment is that it is an excellent read, you will feel all the familarities of the people and the life style but most of all you will feel and live what the characters are going through, at times you will feel angry, at others pity, sadness, helplessness and then anger, the only short fall was that it finished and i could have done with another 2 books and more as it engulfs you all the way through to the point that you suddenly realise that hours have gone by and it is now 3am in the morning.

If you have not bought it then make it a must buy as this truely is an excellent book and we can only hope many more novels are written like this by many more budding Cypriot authors. (and of course the author of 'The Cypriot' better be writting volume 2) cup winner cup winner cup winner cup winner

Volume 2 has been started but its completion will depend on the impact of Volume 1. ie, it can only be written from a villa overlooking the sea in a free and united Cyprus!

my father was asked to sponsor this as he is high up in the NFC.

I didn't want him to as it written by a man who thinks greeks and turks are 'brothers' and this kind of disgusting thing.

He is also implying that Orthodox and Muslim Cypriots are brothers, isn't that terrible?

And i explained to you that you are wrong, the point is you joined the forum and set about to cause disruption by posting material that is incorrect (reference Islam) and designed to stir up emotions that will antagonise and entice hatred rather than introduce yourself and participate in the threads going hence in doing this you have shown/represented yourself as a racist, white nazi supremist, troll and a Turk hater in less than half an hour.
