I agree that something had to be done to curtail the use of avatars to flame etc.And the present rule seems to be eminently sensible.People can still use what they want,and they have the pleasure of sharing that with others if others like it as well
I must say we are very lucky to have people with such common sense and intelligence slaving for us as admins and mods.
I will make one tiny criticism.We seem to have thrown away the baby with the bath water. I am talking about the Cyprus flag.For me it was a powerful symbol of unity.The much neglected symbol of the times when it seemed possible for all Cypriots to unite under it.Could we not make an exception just for the Cyprus flag???Pleaseeeeee.Pretty pleeeassseeee???  |

As much as we would like to do it for you this is a blanket rule covering all flags, sorry.  |

Er sorry boomer but this avatar is like 700,000bytes large, nearly 3/4 of a mega byte. Can you not get it any smaller. Its just too big in byte size for an avatar. Sorry mate. |

sorry Erol I compressed it down from 300MB...They only way is to reduce the output quality on the original AVI file...I have to rerender it...I wll try tomorrow...
What size should it be?
Also while I was in China from the usual hotel that I stay I couldn't access tis site...But in another town I had no problem...
