I wonder if someone can help me track down the composer/record company for an old 1950's Greek song by an artist whose name is Boyadzis.

The song I think is called 'S' oles tis yis tis glosses' and says 'I love you' in several different languages, ie. "S' agapo Ellinika, no di amo Italika, ze vous aime Fransezika, I love you Englezika".

I am using translated extracts of this in a novel that I've written that's to be published in July and I wanted to try and seek permission to use the lyrics.

Also anyone know anything about a song called 'Aspres Gordheles?'. It goes:

Aspres gordheles, ta gortisia forane, kai d' agoria kitane, pou ximnane noris....

I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is helpful but I seem to remember this song by Nana Mouskouri, some 40 years ago, but it was from my sisters collection and so it could well be 50+ years old.

Book? What book?

Thanks SP. I'll check. The version I heard was by a man. You're right. It's an old 1950s song.

I've just found links to both the songs and found myself welling up for 'S' aghabo'. A classic.
