| do you believe though that it is hypocritial for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus not to grant political equality to the enclaves Greek Cypriots for the reasons that Turkish Cypriots demand political equality in a unitary cyprus? |

In all honesty not really. The Republic of Northern Cyprus does not claim to be a government/administration of all cypriots, but only of the Turkish Cypriot community. If it claimed to be a legitiamte government/adminsitration of all cypriots and there was a significant % of Greek Cypriot here (say more than 5%) then yes I would see some hypocrasy there, but as things are now I do not see this as hypocrasy.
I think these people should be treated fairly and equaly as indivduals (and better than they have been in the past though I believe this has improved in recent years) and should have local political control of their local affairs, but I do not believe they should have political equality with the Turkish Cypriot community in the Republic of Northern Cyprus or that this is hypocritical. |

If you are willing to accept this for another community and not for yourself then I believe that is hypocritical. |

I am willing to accept this for both communites in the 'unatural' situation we currently have (two seperate 'states'), for Greek Cypriot in the north and Turkish Cypriot in the south. I am not willing to accept it for a reunifed Cyprus. |

That is what I am referring too. Reunified Cyprusis light years away. After civilization on Earth has been destroyed by aliens and then reborn again. |
