No, I said it correct. You should never, ever assume that if something is correct i one language, it is in another. Literally, 'katalavenis o,ti lene sto radio' in English would be 'you understand whatever they say on the radio', but to be correct in English, it could be interpreted as 'do you understand what they say/is said on the radio'.

Hey Dhavlos slightly random I know, but where in B'ham do you live? Sorry it's just that I live in Walsall....You do live In B'ham don't you?? Sorry if i'm wrong, it just because your location say's Birmingham...
Tell me about the Greek getting worse after leaving Greek school!! Howevre I tend to go to Cyprus most years so it get's better over the summer, then when I come back it gets really bad....even though most of my fam still speak greek..mmm.. strange...maybe it's because I mailnly speak English... |

yeh, well, im from london, but im studying at uni of Bham, so im in southern birmingham.
Im at home at teh mo, but i will be back in brum in july for the summer!
...Also, reading back over the thread...as it happens, my greek has not got worse(maybe got better) cos i have a cypriot mate from cyprus, who is on my course! He speaks english and i speak greek! lol |

Hey, that kind of strange, so you've swapped places?? Cool, i like it! Teaching each other! Yeah I thought you might be a Brummie, because I know quite a few Greek Cypriot's that live in B'ham area (not that there's alot to know, plus i'm related to most! ) and I didn't recognise you...
So how are you finding B'ham? I mean we have the bullring now!! Hehehe  |

BRUM IS SOOOO COOL!!!
possibly the best nightlife (outside london - but then again, london is so expensive!) ive ever had!
Vodbull is genius, and the bullring is pretty cool. Other than shopping tho, brum aint got much culutre if you see what i mean ...aint much to just 'see'.
still, i recommend it to ANY university student! |

hehe, why yes Brum is quite cool! I deff agree with the nightlife and of course the Bullring! Altough you are right about the "lack" of sites..however my school somehow managed to make a whole Geography trip based around the site's to see in good old Brummigum, so it can't be all that bad...lol
I hear the uni's great, sounds like your havin a good time..
Well hey I might see you about on a Sat night..When are you coming, July? I'll look out for ya!!! Although I may be in Cyprus.....Hey might see u there???  |
