Yes it is. They also call it Avrasya TV. It's a bit nationalist though,,,

I remember back in the 80s when we only had 1 channel (RIK) and they only broadcasted for 6 hours a day. Once, they went on strike and left us without TV for months. People everywhere turned their antennas towards Bayrak. Rauf Denktash saw this as a unique propaganda opportunity and changed almost the entire programming of the station to Greek. You could watch movies with Greek subtitles, Turkish Cypriot documentaries translated to Greek, even news in Greek (from the "other" point of view, of course). Any Turkish Cypriots around here with a recollection of that particular situation?
