My village is Oroklini but 'ra' is heard all over Cyprus, but is generally thought of as a village word and it's becoming less common and more rude nowadays.

Dhavlos, CY, I mean in Greek they call them just 'thio' and 'thia' (with no name after it). We in English would never call somebody 'uncle' or 'aunt'.

Leon.

In my village Louroudjina, its RA, but sometimes Re too. Or sometimes both as shown below

If someone calls you over to their house for coffee, its usually

" Ra Mehmet! Gel icelim cay re" -Mehmet, come for coffee.
