Tight security measures have been put in place ahead of the inaugural Turkish Grand Prix in Istanbul on Sunday.
Two thousand paramilitary police will patrol the new circuit, fans will pass through metal detectors on entry and all vehicles will be searched.

I'm looking forward to it, looks like a good track... designed by the guy who designed Malaysia, Bahrain and Shanghai... all good tracks.

there was also this other member who had taken great pics from WRC. I think his name was Panos, the one that also posted lots of other great photographs. (his dog, landscape etc)

Anyway, putting your excitement aside, I've heard that the new track in Istanbul has been build against advise from ecologists or even in a nature reserve. Is that true?

I mean F1 is a huge waste of ressources anyway.....
