I was listening to a tune by Men At Work where they mention a Vegemite or Vedgemite sandwich. Can someone from downunder explain to me what this is? |

Leave it to the brits and aussies to figure out a way to recycle spent beer yeast. Has anyone actually tried this stuff? |

Once. It stuck to the inside of my oesophagus (!!) and I ended up in hospital
(I have had a lot of trouble with said organ, which means that I can't eat certain things; rice, for one, is verboten. Regrettably, the only way to find out what can't be eaten is to try it. Marmite and Vegemite - never again!)

I hate Marmite... love the current ad campaign on UK television though.
Features a guy and a lovely girl (way out of his league) returning to her apartment. She disappears off to the kitchen to make some drinks, the guy looks around the room, obviously thinking his luck is in. She returns, whereupon they kiss, only for the guy to start retching and scraping his tongue with his fingers... the camera then pans over to the kitchen counter where there is a tub of marmite... classic |
